Zo, weer eens wat nieuws melden.
O.T heeft wederom een nieuwe drummer, Niels Jordaan die in het verleden in In Age And Sadness gedrumd heeft.
Inmiddels heeft hij de nodige songs onder de knie en dat gaan we aankomende zondag 9 mei in de vorm van een try-out even aan het publiek voorleggen.

Het vindt plaats in Get Rhythm in Ridderkerk rond 16.00. Gratis toegang.

Verder zijn we druk bezig met het schrijven van nieuwe songs.

Nieuwe songs... Goed nieuws!

Zo, even dit topic weer eens onder de aandacht brengen, want er is nieuws.

- Er is een nieuwe split CD met het Duitse Ophis, getiteld 'Immersed', uitgebracht door het Spaanse Memento Mori (www.memento-mori.es).
- Het nieuwe album 'Mors Viri' is klaar en op dit moment wordt gezocht naar een label dat het wil uitbrengen.
- Er is een nieuwe website (www.officiumtriste.com).

De review staat eind van de week online. Het wachten van mijn kant is op de vinyl versie??

Ik vrees dat vinyl er bij deze release niet inzit.

De split CD is zeker weer de moeite waard.

Giving Yourself Away vond ik zeer matig, maar zo'n beetje alle releases daarvoor trok ik wel erg goed. Dus wel benieuwd naar nieuw werk.

OFFICIUM TRISTE signs with HAMMERHEART RECORDS for album #5 !!!

Holland’s melodic doom/death metal veterans Officium Triste proudly announce the release of their 5th studio album, entitled ‘Mors Viri’, through Hammerheart Records on February 18th, 2013. ‘Mors Viri’ was recorded on several occasions during 2011 at El Pato studios in Bergweiler, Germany. Ronnie Björnström at Enhanced Audio Productions did the mix and master in Sweden. ‘Mors Viri’ sounds mature and varied with a focus on melancholic melodies, and is definitely their strongest recording to date.

“We’ve been working really hard on this new album and we are convinced we made a huge leap forward in both song writing as well as production. We are positive Hammerheart Records will be a big help in spreading our name even further. We’re really looking forward working with them.”
