Emeth announces title new album: TELESIS

The most notorious pack of degenerates from Belgium Emeth, which features in its ranks ex-Aborted guitarist Matty Dupont and Blood Red Throne bassist Erlend Caspersen, has set "Telesis" as the title of its highly anticipated third album, due early 2008 via Brutal Bands. The band recently finished recording their new album at Hertz Studios with the Wieslawscy brother's as producers and is currently mixing eleven tracks for this new effort.

It features the following track listing:

Emeth is know as a band which has its roots in death metal, but at the same time, as one that has never been afraid to experiment. This third opus shows the band progressing into a heavier, tighter and more technically advanced direction with memorable and inventive song structures and a natural yet modern production.

Now that the Brutal Beatings comp cd has seen the light of day we have some little extra's for you all...

We were asked by Sick Drummer to participate on this first edition so we wrote an exlusive song called Exterminate the Vacillating for Ian & co!

Emeth op zoek naar bassist.

Na 2 jaar heeft Emeth’s bassist Greg besloten er een muzikaal punt achter te zetten en zich te gaan toeleggen op zijn studies. Greg zijn beslissing kwam er toen duidelijk werd dat de agenda van de band moeilijk te combineren werd met zijn studie in de UK. Desondanks blijft Greg nog bassen op onze aankomende 4de US tour. De band wil hem graag bedanken voor zijn toewijding en inzet en wenst hem veel succes in de toekomst!

Op 16 juli vertrekt Emeth opnieuw voor een tour doorheen Canada en de US. Eind augustus is de band te aanschouwen op enkele Belgische zomerfestivals. En vanaf oktober zal de Belgische death metal formatie over verscheidene podia te zien zijn doorheen Europa…

After a tumultous period we are happy to announce that Emeth has found a new full member bassplayer: David Monein.
It wasn’t easy to find someone who could reach the standard set by the highly skilled bassist Erlend Caspersen (Blood Red Throne, The Allseeing I, Deeds of Flesh, Vile, Incinerate,…). David proved to be the right man for the job by playing just as easy and fluently as Erlend did on the last Emeth record Telesis. Soon we'll upload some vids of David playing some nasty Emeth basslines on our youtube channel. Besides the live bass duties David will also take part in the upcoming songwriting process and studiorecordings.

Ik vind de nieuwe(telesis) de beste.

We're proud to announce and welcome our new drummer, Kevin De Leener, to the band.
After playing merely 4 songs on the first audition together we knew immediately that he was the man for the job.
Kevin is a well known musician in Belgium and previously played in several bands such as Suhrim, Fleshmould and more.
Thank you all who sent their applications and showed interest towards Emeth!.

Now, devoid of all the headaches and difficulties with previous members, this band has come to embody a refound sense of energy and freedom, and with the addition of Kevin - his talent and enthusiasm - which will allow us to move us forward. This means that this extreme death metal machine is on the roll again. We already got some new shows booked and more are coming. Which couldn't make us happier cause we are dying to get out there again & play for all of you who have had to wait so long on a chance to catch us live! We will replace Disavowed on the Meh Suf! fest in Swiss on 12.09.09 and hope to play plenty belgian and other european stages starting from july 2009.

We'd also like to announce that we have started the songwriting for the follow up record to Telesis. The material for the forthcoming record can at this point best be described as a blend of Insidious style brutality, Reticulated style technicality and Telesis style heaviness.
