We are proud to announce that Pure & Simple records will release two new CDs in March 2006! Again we have managed to find two bands that, we feel, fit our label-policy perfectly and bring some quality music!

About the Rawberries (in their own, nice words):

September 2002:

Four drunk, obnoxious guys at a gig in Rotterdam, the girls sucked (no.
not in that way), the beer tasted like shit and on top of that the bands
that played that night really sucked ass. At that moment we decided to
form a band who would hit everybody right in da nuts, something different from the rest you know?!

After we released our demo we have played lots of gigs with bands like:
Deadline, The Revolvers, Guitar Gangsters, Beans, The Heartaches, Stereo Blackout, The Vaders etc. etc.

Now 3,5 years later we´re ready to release our debut CD "A ticket to the
unknown", which has 13 ball-kicking, nipple-twisting, mind-blowing songs
on it! The sound we have is kind of a mix of our favorite music-styles, so
if you like rockin´ streetpunk mixed with melodic punkrock with a glam
edge, you have found the right band!

About Dead By Dawn (in their own, crushing words):

Early 2000, Dead By Dawn arose from the ashes of the metalcore band
Foreshadow. With members of Face Tomorrow and I-Reject the then four-piece mainly focused on simplicity and brutal force. Mixing thrash and death metal with a shot of metalcore, Dead By Dawn climbed and wrecked stages all over the Netherlands.

Lyrically political content and personal points of apocalyptic views
support their ruthless and merciless music. Although comparisons varied
from bands like Death, Mastodon, Pantera to Burnt By The Sun and Obituary, Dead By Dawn was setting out its own course through the wide spectrum of heavy music.

In April 2002 Dead By Dawn released their first feat of arms, the three
track M-CD titled "New Sounds Of Murder". Reviews from home and abroad were all favorable. Since 2004 there have been some line-up changes. Guitarist Ilja Traas (Sk;rl) joined the ranks and brought with him the opportunity for more diversity in the sound. At the end of 2004 bass player Sander van Rhijn decided to leave the band. Early 2005 Dead By Dawn recruited Martijn Oster (ex-Twist Of Fate) on bass.

The current line-up is: Richard de Neve - vocals Sjoerd van der Knoop -
drums Martijn Oster - bass Ilja Traas - guitar Wouter Florusse - guitar
With this new line-up Dead By Dawn is taking a turn towards a wider
horizon. Musically still merciless, but also more diverse and melodic. In
the summer of 2005 the band worked hard on recording a new CD entitled "The Night To End All Days", which is set for release spring 2006. Dead By Dawn will also be back on stage by that time to present their view on brutal metal, in the broadest sense of the word, to the audience.

Don't forget to check out our first release: Dark Intentions - Remorse
will die today M-CD (P&S 1) which has received excellent reviews and
response throughout the world. The band is currently playing some shows and writing new songs for their upcoming full-length CD, which should be out somewhere near the end of 2006!
