Hehehe, idd. Als het nou nog leuk oud spul was, maar optredens van de laatste 10 jaar, als ik het goed gelezen heb. Wie wil dat nou hebben...

Ow, wacht, idd. Van 2014 dus. Helemaal pffff.

Ach, je bepaalt altijd nog zelf of je zo'n album (of serie albums) wilt kopen of niet. Lijkt me ook dat het vooral een geste aan de fans is die "hun" concert terug kunnen luisteren, dan dat dit stuk voor stuk net zulke zwaarwegende, officiële livealbums zijn als bv. S&M dat was.

Ben ik de enige die Load wel goed vond, maar Reload niet? Die laatste is samen met St Anger de enige die ik nooit meer luister.

Idem. Load is een goeie, samenhangende plaat. Reload heeft imo een vijftal goede nummers, maar de rest is matig tot gewoon slecht.

Load en Reload waren eigenlijk van dezelfde schrijfsessie. Dat is ook duidelijk te horen.

Bij Load kan je inderdaad merken dat er meer samenhang is over het hele album, wat minder is bij Reload. Dat maakt Load wel sterker.

Ik ben het dus wel eens met deze stelling.

Mijns inziens zijn noch load, noch reload kult genoeg.
Maar da's maar mijn mening.

IMHO.

Zul je zien dat de band het in de aanloop weer met Meshuggah gaat vergelijken.

Speaking to RollingStone.com about "No Life 'Til Leather", Ulrich said: "It's time for us to put out some next-level reissues and do the song and dance of the catalog that everyone else has done; the U2s and the LED ZEPPELINs and the OASISes. Instead of starting with 'Kill 'Em All' in 1983, we figured we'd go back another two years to when the band was formed in 1981."

He continued: "This is the second demo that we made and circulated. I sat in my bedroom and wrote on the J cards and went to the post office and sent it around to all the tape collectors around the world. Now, 20, 30 years later, it has become synonymous with the pre-'Kill 'Em All' era."
