Even een mi ondergewaardeerde band onder de aandacht brengen.

Carcariass, een technische deathmetalband uit Frankrijk; flink beïnvloed door Death aangevuld met veel instrumentale gedeeltes.

Ze hebben net een week of wat hun 4e plaat uit: E-xtinction. Een aantal nummers ervan staan op hun myspace.

Ik vind die nieuwe wat tegenvallen, het klinkt m.i. wat ongeinspireerd. Naar die heruitgave van de eerste twee albums kijk ik overigens wel uit.

+1 je kan zeggen dat ze gemakzuchtig van elk even nummer een instrumentaaltje hebben gemaakt met zelfs nog 4 instrumentale bonustracks en dat er minder pit in zit, maar vooral melodieus is het mi héél erg goed gevonden.

Zeer genietbaar plaatje.
