Kijk, met promo's kan je een aantal dingen doen. Een groot deel heb ik over de jaren aan vrienden en bekenden gegeven, die ik er een plezier mee doe. Nu blijft dit over. Ik zou het linea recta in de kliko kunnen mikken, ook best. Maar misschien zijn er wel mensen die ze willen hebben. Maar met "gratis op te halen: stapel CDs" heb ik ook slechte ervaringen - dan gaat een of andere freeloader er eventueel iets dubieus mee doen.

Ik hoef er niets mee te verdienen, en ik wil de freeloaders buiten de deur houden. Dan is het naar mijn idee de beste oplossing om een "symbolisch" bedrag te vragen, dat naar een goed doel gaat. Dat lijkt mij persoonlijk een betere oplossing dan zeggen "promo's verkoop je niet" en vervolgens de hele bende gewoon weg te flikkeren...

Vraag gewoon de verzendkosten, fag.

Laat die kerel toch, stelletje zeikerds! Je hoeft niets te kopen..

Allemaal goed en wel, maar je schoffeert er de platenlabels mee en op ZM dus ook de redactie (ivm relaties met platenlabels). Stuur ze anders gratis mee met een reguliere bestelling.

Ruilen kan altijd, doe maar een leuk aanbod...

Dubieuze dingen met CD's: ooit wel eens een distro platen zien verkopen die je gratis hebt weggegeven? Vind ik behoorlijk dubieus.

Meezenden met reguliere bestellingen: ik ben geen CD-winkel, geen distro/mailorder en geen platenlabel. Gewoon een (oud)reviewer. Ik zou het graag mee willen sturen met een reguliere bestelling, maar ik heb simpelweg geen reguliere bestellingen.

En de relatie met labels: ik ken natuurlijk niet alle labels persoonlijk, maar wel behoorlijk wat promotors. Die hebben er eigenlijk geen moeite mee, voor zover ik met ze gesproken heb de laatste tijd.
Hoe zwaremetalen hier tegenover staat, weet ik niet. Als het hun relatie met labels compromitteert, heb ik er absoluut geen probleem mee als ze mijn post verwijderen of zo...

Zo, en nu heb ik mezelf wel weer genoeg verdedigd voor vandaag...
