Ik heb bergen metal moeten doorploegen dit jaar waarvan een deel gewoon echt beroerd was. Ik maak mijn jaarlijst op luisterplezier en waar ik van onder de indruk ben. En daar zaten dit jaar dus vier niet metal platen bij. Gelukkig mag ik dat gewoon omringen met metal in al zijn vormen.

Voor mij is het zo dat ik grotendeels naar metal luister, omdat dit het genre is wat me het vaakst weet te overtuigen.
Daarom dat ook mijn lijst bijna geheel uit metal zal bestaan.
Neemt niet weg dat ik ook naar niet metal gerelateerde dingen luister en er hier ook een aantal indruk genoeg weten te maken waardoor ze toch in men jaarlijst terecht kunnen komen.

Ik vermoed dat dit voor meerdere mensen hier wel geldig is.
Het helpt natuurlijk wel dat je in iets als Cave of Bowie bepaalde sferen hebt die ook wel aansluiten bij bepaalde metal muziek.

3. Of we luisteren naar meer dan alleen metal, wat komt door de kwaliteit van de andere genres ipv de kwaliteit (of, zoals je stelt, een gebrek eraan) van metal.
