MMM Presents: BURNING WITCHES (Switzerland) + SAVAGE BLOOD (Germany)

BURNING WITCHES (Switzerland):
The all-female band Burning Witches was founded during spring 2015 in Brugg, beautiful Switzerland, by guitar player Romana Kalkuhl. It has always been her big dream to perform with a women's heavy metal band on stage. During the music university studies she already started her first group: ATLAS & AXIS with which she has already recorded two albums and played several concerts!
In 2015 Romana started to look for talented ladies for the new combo. Jeanine Grob (bass) a longtime friend, became the first official member. At a party on a festival Romana met Seraina Telli (singer) for the first time. It clicked right away betweens the two girls, on a musical and on a personal level. Seraina brought in many ideas and a lot of experience cause of her studies at the Music Academy and her band SURRILIUM. The guitarist and the singer became a great songwriting team right away! Romana wrote her mate Schmier from DESTRUCTION / PANZER about her new project, he was interested in the new outfit and the ladies brought him onboard as a producer / consultant! After an intensive search and different auditions, BURNING WITCHES found Lala Frischknecht the perfect drummer for the all chick metal band . Since summer 2015, the girls have been working hard on new material and in autumn 2015 they recorded the first three songs with VO Pulver at Little Creek Studio (PANZER / PRO PAIN / DESTRUCTION). The search for the right band name was kind of easy, because if 5 crazy girls burn hard for Heavy Metal, they can only call themselves BURNING WITCHES. This year they released their debut album and it receives overwhelming postive reviews everywhere! The band is also already booked for the 2018 edition of the glorious Bang Your Head festival!!!!

No doubt, in the nineties ENOLA GAY were an absolutely integral part of the European Power metal scene. Their mix of catchy Melodies, crunchy riffs, crunchy thrash Elements and catchy hooks knew how to inspire, also on stage ENOLA GAY always convincing. As headliner or as support of bands like Stratovarius, Iced Earth, Metal Church, Saxon, Testament, King Diamond or Nevermore, or even at festivals.
And of course the press noticed: "By far the best thing the German Power Metal Underground has to offer" wrote at that time for example the German Rock Hard Magazine (7/97) about the band (last release: Strange Encounter 1999 / Century Media Records). After three long players and numerous tours, 2001 came the split of ENOLA GAY. Until one year ago (12/2016) Peter Diersmann (v.), Marc Könnecke (dr.) and Nico Luttenberg (g.) came together again to found a new formation together with Jörg Steinhake (g., Purid) and Markus Weckermann (b., Sudden Death). The new line-up will henceforth shake the clubs of the nation under the name of SAVAGE BLOOD. SAVAGE BLOOD have all the trademarks Enola Gay honored that time, leading their sound with additional fresh, contemporary component and thus combines tradition and modernity. SAVAGE BLOOD serves the heart of all Thrashheads, all metal melodic ears and of course metal heads will jointly celebrate with rockers in front of the stage. The penchant for power and melody will all unite. Savage Blood entered the Burning Flag Studio in their hometown Osnabrück in June 2016 to record a first 5-track EP. The band is hot to enter the stages. Don’t hesitate to get in contact with Savage Blood.
