Het gemiddelde aantal punten per nominatie ligt bij YOB inderdaad lager dan bij Ghost bijvoorbeeld. Meer nominaties, maar gemiddeld meer onderaan de lijstjes.

Portishead stond op 17, overigens. Muse stond in 2006 op 28, Sigur Ros in 2008 op 32, The National in 2010 op 28, The National in 2013 op 24, Swans in 2014 op 10, Swans in 2016 op 24, David Bowie in 2016 op 25, Nick Cave in 2016 op 40.

De eerste keer dat een YOB album bij mij in de top 20 terecht is gekomen. Was altijd een wat saaie en veilige band, maar met dit album niet meer.

Mijn nummer 1 komt nergens in voor.... Kaelan Mikla. In geen ene lijst terug te vinden. Jammer.

Arctic Monkeys staan er gewoon in hoor.

Wiegedood, serieus zo hoog? Een van de meest overgewaardeerde blackmetalbands van dit moment. Slap aftreksel van de tweede golf stijl met wat post-elementen. Gelukkig staat Ultha, die wel een frisse draai geven aan de jaren '90 en de post-blackstijl, ook vrij hoog genoteerd.

Ik vond YOB en Behemoth allebei vies tegenvallen, maar daar ben ik blijkbaar in de minderheid.

Ook een kwaliteitspopplaat op plaats 2. Mournful Congregation in de top 10 is ook mooi, beste plaat van het jaar wat mij betreft!

Zou er toch wel voor pleiten de puntentelling weer wat aan te passen, vind dat nu de 'vaakgenomineerden' weer wat overdreven hoog komen. Terug naar 20 voor 1 etc. dan weer niet, maar misschien 25? Of op een directere manier de gemiddelde waardering meewegen? Niet ongebruikelijk, dat soort composietscores.

Edit: en om het voor Pim leuk te maken, hier kun je ook met iets Bayesiaans los gaan
