Ik ga maar eens een topic starten waarmee ik me niet populair ga maken (niet dat ik dat al was ofzo).

Psychopathic records is het label dat is opgericht door de Insane Clown Posse, the label that runs beneath the streets. Ik denk dat de meesten van jullie die rap-act wel kennen. De meeste andere acts op Psychopathic records zijn een beetje in dezelfde stijl. Het is eigenlijk 1 grote familie. Op Zug island na want dat is meer rock. Die zijn nog op tour geweest met Kings X (maar dat terzijde).

Wat me zo aanspreekt in bijna al deze acts is dat ze schijt hebben aan alles wat de mainstream doet. Ze vloeken en schelden alles aan elkaar vast, iets wat ze zelf the wicked shit noemen. Ze hebben een enorm sterk concept, maar dat is iets waar je pas achter komt als je je er een beetje in verdiept. En ze hebben ook nog eens enorm sterke teksten. Hoewel ik weet dat het niet altijd zo lijkt. Veel teksten zijn ook gewoon pure humor. Bijna alles psychopathic acts moeten met een korreltje zout genomen worden. Maar toch...er zitten zelfs teksten tussen waar ik kracht uit kan putten. Teksten die je het idee geven dat je er niet alleen voor staat en dat je altijd moet blijven vechten voor waar je voor staat. Nou weet ik dat er honderden bands zijn die voor andere mensen hetzelfde doen. Maar bij mij werkt dit nou eenmaal.

Ben wel benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden. Ik zal later nog wel eens wat grappige teksten posten.

Ik kan me ook helemaal vinden in de muziek en teksten van deze gasten.
Ik geef normaal geen ruk om teksten maar dit kan ik echt waarderen.Tuurlijk bevat het humor maar sommige nummers kunnen ook mij aansterken en aan het denken zetten.(gebeurd niet vaak).
De hele sfeer die icp ,twiztid enz. creeren kan ik alleen terug vinden in psychobilly.

Het is een wereld apart met joker cards,juggalo's,hatchet gear,wicked shit,ninja's enz.

Die Dark lotus cd is ook echt geniaal. Ik vind alleen de cd van Blaze nog net iets beter.
Dark lotus bestaat uit Violent J, Shaggy2dope (ICP), Jamie Madrox, The monoxide child (Twiztid), Blaze ya dead homie en Marz.

Maar Marz is direct na de opnames van Tales from the lotus pod opgerot. Daarna is de gehele cd opnieuw opgenomen met Anybody killa die de raps van Marz inzingt. Dus er zijn 2 versies van die cd. Ik wil de versie met ABK ook nog graag hebben eigenlijk. Maar nu is Blaze er ook mee gestopt. Hij had persoonlijke problemen . Dus nu heeft Marz zijn plek bij Dark lotus weer ingenomen en ABK blijft gewoon.

Ik vind ICP wel vet, komt er nog een nieuwe cd van hun uit?
