in-quest. bestaan die gasten ook al 1000 jaar? volgens mij staat mijn band op een verzamelaar ofzo met hen. and justice for none, dacht ik.

dit is de eerste keer dat ik er iets van hoor, en ik vind ze zwaar heerschend

OMG? nieuw soort mp3's? whahahaha

Gezien het feit dat ik geen ander topic kan vinden over deze band borduur ik maar gewoon verder op dit topic.

In Quest heeft sinds kort hun 3e album, The Comatose quandaries, op de markt gebracht. En ik kan u verzekeren dat dat album echt een schot in de roos is. Het vorige album, Epileptic, was al goed maar deze nieuwe is gewoon nog beter!

Sven van Aborted heeft de band intussen verlaten en deze nieuwe cd wordt ingezongen door ene Mike die een indrukwekkende prestatie neerzet. Hierdoor is de vergelijking met Aborted weg en zetten ze een meer origineel geluid neer.

Voor de mensen die In Quest nog niet kennen:
Men nemen lompe death/grind en mixt daar wat metalcore achtig beukwerk door, wat Soilwork achtig sfeerwerk, wat Fear factory achtige industrial en wat van de Meshuggah achtige mechanische techniek.

Update on the new Album

We are currently working on the next album 'Made out of Negative Matter'
Things are starting to come together well and the writing process is near by completed. Recordings and mixing will be done at Split Second Sound by Jochem Jacobs also known from his band Textures.
More info will follow soon!

As an appetizer for a new album we've uploaded a self-made video for our interpretation of 'Corridor of Chameleons', originally by Meshuggah. We've played this song live for many years and recorded it during the 'Made Out Of Negative Matter' sessions. The track can be found on our vinyl release 'The Liquidation Files' with ao the new rendition of 'Stahlmacht'. The vinyl EP is still available HERE at our webstore.

Embrace thy subsonic collapse as you drown in straightforward, relentless pummeling with typical In-Quest off-beat twists hidden in your every corner. Unidentified flying pieces of lung and vocal chords mangled with hypnotic streaks of octotonism? Yes sir! It's all there! In-Quest rehashed baby!

The lyrics deal with lost hope and depression through the eyes of existentialism. Imagine Sisyphus pushing his stone up the hill into eternity. Being thrown into our world with no particular reason can indeed sometimes seem a pointless burden.
