SADIST Sign for Beyond Productions, Out soon the Re-Releases of the First Albums!!!

They who, for several years on end, looked for them spending a lot of money on e-bay can be overjoyed... Sadist stipulated an agreement with Beyond Productions ( distributed by Masterpiece ) for the reprint of the [v]first albums.
"Above the light ", the first seminal work, originally published in Europe and Japan in '93 and for years out of catalogue, will be published in December '05. The album includes, in addition to the original songs remastered at the Nadir Studios of Tommy Talamanca, two previosly unreleased bonus tracks and the lyrics ( not included in the original version ).

SADIST - Tribe reissued with three bonus tracks

While the reissue of their debut album "Above the Light" is out since very few weeks, we have now released the second gem "Tribe" with original artwork and some surprises inside (most of all an Iron Maiden cover!). SADIST are now massively working on their new material and, from what we already heard, we can consider it as absolutely the most blasting and smashing ever composed! The band is now totally focused on the sonorities of their first three albums (obviously revised for the new century) and the future seems to be very exiting! They are now ready to come back on stage starting from the upcoming Summer (the main event is the EVOLUTION FESTIVAL, sharing the stage with Atheist, Death Angel, Dark Tranquillity, Within Temptation, Amon Amarth, Annihilator, Cradle of Filth and many more!). In the meantime we want to thanks all the new and long-date worldwide fans of the band who acclaimed with great enthusiasm their come-back, which obtained also a massive feedback by all the relevant metal press. Het schijnt van wel ja, maar ik ken hem dus ook nog niet. Veel mensen vinden het een steengoeie plaat, en hij zal vast niet slechter zijn dan 'Lego'.

Na meerdere malen het album te hebben beluisterd op mp3 heb ik besloten het album aan te schaffen, deze ramt de spreekwoordelijke pannen van het dak!

Mwoah, beetje tussen tribe en crust in, eigenlijk hadden ze dit album na Tribe moeten uitbrengen dan was deze plaat logisch geweest, maar ja, we hebben het hier over Sadist he?

Wat jij zegt ja! 'k Heb em gekocht, idd meer richting het geniale Tribe weer. En da's een goede zaak! Erg mooie plaat, stuk of 5x geluisterd nu. En hij groeit.

SADIST: New Album Details Revealed - Feb. 10, 2010

Italian progressive death metallers SADIST will release their new album, "Season In Silence", on March 19 via Liveglobal/Self. The CD was produced, engineered and mixed by Tommy Talamanca for Nadir Music. According to a press release, the new CD promises to be the band's "most technical and extreme" effort to date.

SADIST will debut some of its new material live during the Italian Gods of Metal Festival in Milan, Italy on March 21. This event will be the first of many European festivals SADIST is going to take part in during the spring/summer of 2010.

SADIST's self-titled comeback album was released in 2007 via Beyond Productions.

Formed in 1991, SADIST split up in 2000 after releasing the "Lego" album and later reunited in 2005. Their compositions are said to involve "a heavy usage of guitar solos and keyboard solos, with progressive, jazz and some Eastern influences. Although SADIST are a death metal outfit, the album 'Lego' is a nu metal album with a thrash metal background."

"Sadist" featured a guest appearance by GOBLIN keyboardist Claudio Simonetti, who contributed a special version of the instrumental track "Sadist", which previously appeared on SADIST's 1993 debut album, "Above the Light".
