Ik zag 'm vandaag voor 20 euro liggen bij de FRS, als ik hem ergens voor 15 euro zie neem ik hem mee. Weinig boeiend hoesje trouwens. |

Ik vindt 't iig een fijn cdtje om naar te luisteren.En dat ze op live8 hebben gespeeld legt ze ook bepaald geen windeieren qua reclame/naamsbekendheid en hopelijk cd verkoop,ze mogen van mij nog wel zo'n schijfje maken. Ik ken ze niet goed, maar eergister op Live8 klonken ze wel leuk, maar ik vond de drum super saai, dus heb ik maar na bbc1 gezapt om te wachten op pink floyd. .. |

*schop* Aanstaande dinsdag spelen ze in de Heineken Music Hall, gaan daar nog mensen van hier naartoe? Het is mogelijk de laatste Velvet Revolver show ooit. Tijdens een show in Engeland een paar weken terug zei Scott dat het de laatste VR tour is. Slash zegt echter dat ze nog wel bezig gaan met een 3e album. According to several fan accounts and online media reports, Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland stunned fans at last Thursday's (March 20) VR concert in Glasgow, Scotland, UK by dropping a huge hint the band's time may be up. He told the sell-out crowd: "You're watching something special... the last tour by Velvet Revolver." A fan who attended last night's show wrote on the band's forum, "Once Scott announced from the stage that this was VR's last tour, Slash [guitar], Duff [McKagan, bass], Matt [Sorum, drums] and Dave [Kushner, guitar] all looked at each other. They sang 'Fall to Pieces', then Scott goes over to the side of the stage and argues with the sound guy. After a couple of songs, he threw his mic down and walked off. After a long wait, Duff came out with the band and sang the start of 'It's So Easy'. Scott shows up about half way through, sang really half-assed then gone again..." Weiland, who recently spent time in rehab at an undisclosed location, has struggled with substance abuse problems for more than a decade, although was reportedly clean for nearly four years until a few months ago. Questions about his condition flared in January when he missed a Velvet Revolver performance at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, claiming transportation problems. Weiland will reunite with his Stone Temple Pilots bandmates for the first time this spring/summer for a number of shows, including an appearance at the Rock on the Range festival, to be held May 17-18 at Columbus, Ohio's Columbus Crew Stadium. op basis van dat nummer heb ik de cd ook gekocht, jammer dat de rest oeverloos gejengel ala b-kantjes van guns & roses is maar dan meer emo. de tering... Je moeder. |

Vond het eerste album wel een Ok album hoor. Het is niet zo bijzonder verder nee, maar slecht zou ik hem ook niet willen noemen. Dat 2e album Libertad ofzo vond ik daarentegen echt niks. |

Ik ben ook niet echt onder de indruk van de albums eerlijk gezegd. Het meeste van Contraband vond ik goed maar niet echt bijzonder. Het 2e album Libertad viel in eerste instantie tegen, maar na vaker luisteren heb ik toch wel wat mooie nummers kunnen ontdekken. Niet echt muziek wat ik vaak opzet dus maar live vond ik ze vorig jaar wél erg goed! Wat G&R nummers erdoorheen gingen er ook wel in.  Dus ben benieuwd hoe ze dinsdag zijn. |

ik vind t wel erg ruig, 2e album vind ik daarin tegen wel cooler dan het eerste. wel ers 70ies |
