Holy shit, this record is amazing. Moho hail from Spain and play some of the best sludge/doom you'll hear all year that draws in elements of noise and crust for a multi-edged attack that will slice you to bits. These guys really remind me of Cavity (especially the "Drowning" album) with their ability to effortlessly change tempos and keep you off guard. They can crawl and play at very doomed out speeds ala Grief or hit you with a southern-fried riff that can stand up to the heaviest southern heavyweights like Eyehategod. Then there's the slashing sludge-punk attack of "Rompiendo Huesos" which is one of the best tracks on the album with its Cavity meets Motorhead delivery. Only 6 songs here but several of them are pretty long and they are all of the highest quality and there's not a moment of filler, just total focus on destroying the listener. These guys really have the ability to create powerful riffs that just infect your mind and have your banging your head along coupled with a crushing drum attack and vile vocals that will tear away whatever is left of your sanity. Here's the bottom line, if you like sludge then you must get this disc. Moho are an essential listen for all sludge fans as this is some of the strongest stuff these ears have heard recently. A must have for fans of Cavity, Unsane, Eyehategod and Grief.
