NULLIFYING EUROPE TOUR 2009

2009 is the year designated for the release of AVULSED's fifth full length album "Nullo (The Pleasure of Self-mutilation)" (10th CD on their career!!). After their highly acclaimed previous album "Gorespattered Suicide" that leaded them to play in places like Mexico (full 11-dates tour), Japan, Russia, countless spare shows & festivals all across Europe as well as a headlining tour through Europe in '05. Spanish Death Metal legends are ready for their 4th European assault, again as headliners and again counting with their italian comrades GRIMNESS 69 to share the roads!!

But it is with great pride that we can announce the adding of a 3rd band to the bill, which are no others than EMETH from Belgium, known as band which has its roots in brutal Death Metal, but at the same time, as one that has never been afraid to experiment: listen to their last "Telesis" to understand.

"NULLIFYING EUROPE TOUR 2009" will be hell of a tour gathering two of the most respected bands in their genre with a solid fanbase: AVULSED (18 years of history) with their gore-drenched brand of Death Metal and one of the most violent live performances seen on stage, EMETH with their heavy, tight and technical brutal Death Metal, and the uprising italian force GRIMNESS 69 with their raging Death/ Grind.

Emeth vs Rottennes Split CD
Emeth and Rottenness (Mex) will team up to release a split cd. Both bands will record 4 songs of their finest new material to create some devastating aural decimation. Emeth will enter the Redlefthand studios in April to record their spewings of undiluted extreme belgian sickness.

Title 4th Album releaved: Aethyr
Emeth has set ‘Aethyr’ as the title of its upcoming fourth full album. Eleven tracks of furious death metal are planned to be recorded later this year. The song ‘Exterminate The Vacillating’ previously only available on the sickdrummer.com compilation will be re-recorded. Aethyr will mark Emeth’s return to a more brutal and intense technically advanced direction with inventive song structures.

Live Sickness
In addition to the new releases Emeth will again head out on a regular basis to deliver their well known extreme belgian sickness at various shows, festivals and tours. This is the first update in a long time regarding Emeth’s 4th full album entitled AETHYR.

So far 10 songs have been composed, decomposed and meticulously put together again in order to create what we feel is the strongest and most complete Emeth material ever. Its fair to say that some of this new material is very compositionally challenging and technically demanding. And believe us, these new songs blew our brainsfuses already!!

Line up news:

After a long period of to many session guitarists; we are very proud to announce that a new guitarplayer has been found in the person of Alan Rawson!! We were completely blown away by his playing!!

We have uploaded a video of Alan playing an Emeth song: check out our video page (www.emeth.be or youtube channel). Show him your support bastards and biatches and be sure to check him out on our upcoming Aethyr album!!

We are happy to announce that a new drummer has been found in the person of Nico Veroeven (Serial Butcher, Leptotrichia). He just needed one rehearsal to prove that he is the best fit for Emeth moving forward. Nico's abilities on the kit, his feel, power and click tight precision, are some of the best we have ever seen and we are very excited to welcome him to Emeth’s Extreme sickness quarters.

Yet We're still looking for singer. Interested? Drop me a line here or at emeth(dot)be(at)gmail(dot)com and you'll get some karaoke tracks to record yourself for the audition. We're looking for someone who is creative and a quicklearner. We got new recordings coming up and some shows in 2013.

Today is a new day in the never ending evolution of EMETH and are happy to announce that our line up is complete again.

After an intense process of auditioning vocalists we announce that Tom Demuynck has stepped up to fill the empty position near the frontedge of the stage. Some of you will know his utterly brutal and aggressive vocals from his earlier work in Leptotrichia.

With the line up complete we are now working full speed ahead on getting a new live set up and running cause we are eager to get back on stages and destroy any audience in front of it. At the same time we are working our asses off to get the new album recorded as soon as possible.

So here he is moffo's and biatches!!

Some of you may know the song as we recorded that with former drummer tom ales for the Sickdrummer compilation 2008. It will be rerecorded for the new album AETHYR
