NIEUWE NAMEN

Queens of the Stone Age, de lievelingen van de festivalgangers, komen naar Rock Werchter. Op vrijdag 29 juni staan ze, met hun nieuwe album onder de arm, op de Main Stage. Ook Razorlight, Frank Black (die mede-Pixie Joey Santiago meebrengt), Heideroosjes , Blonde Redhead en Air Traffic hebben intussen hun komst naar het festival bevestigd. Dat brengt het aantal aangekondigde namen voor Rock Werchter nu op 36. Nog minder dan 25 te gaan. Daarover meer binnenkort!

Donderdag 28 juni

main stage: My Chemical Romance, Marilyn Manson, Björk, Muse
pyramid marquee: Air Traffic, Beastie Boys
Vrijdag 29 juni

main stage: Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam
pyramid marquee: Joan As Police Woman, Gabriel Rios
Zaterdag 30 juni

main stage: Heideroosjes, Razorlight, Snow Patrol, The Killers, Keane, The Chemical Brothers

pyramid marquee: Blonde Redhead, Klaxons, Goose, Arno , The Good The Bad and The Queen, LCD Soundsystem

Zondag 1 juli

main stage: !!!, Mastodon, The Kooks, Interpol, Incubus, Metallica, Faithless
