INTERMENT Returns With New Album
Swedish Death Metal monarch INTERMENT finally returns with a follow-up album entitled "Scent Of The Buried".
Almost six years since "Into The Crypts Of Blasphemy" came out, the album quickly took the underground scene by storm; reviving what was special about the early Swedish Death Metal energy and spirit but bringing it to a new level of aggression.
"Scent Of The Buried" not only continues the same utterly deplorable Death Metal stench but also recreating that unmistakable HM-2 chainsaw tone at the legendary Sunlight Studio with Tomas Skogsberg (Entombed, Dismember, Grave, Nirvana 2002, Desultory, Carnage, etc) at the engineering helm.
The bloodcurdling artwork for "Scent Of The Buried" was depicted by Juan Castellano (Portrait, Revel In Flesh, Avulsed, etc).
