Murder Manifest announces new bassist
After bassist Anne van Doorn left the band, it was a bit quiet around Murder Manifest. After a break of a few months they started with auditions. Today they announced that they have recruited Bouke Braun (ex-Thronar) for the bass position. Murder Manifest is complete again. On short term they will enter the studio for the recordings of the follow-up of their debut album “Mental Surgery”.
Bouke about joining Murder Manifest:
“Murder Manifest is a great band with a lot of potential. It was an honor to be asked to join them. They are very professional musicians and are a great bunch of guys. The next thing for me is writing my bass parts for the new album. I (and so should the rest of the world) look forward to the start the recordings. It is going to kick ass!”
The band about Bouke joining Murder Manifest:
“Bouke is no stranger to the band. After Kevin and Jarno, he is the third ex-band member of Viking / heavy metal band Thronar (rip) joining the band. Bouke proved himself already to be a good guy on stage during a show in Switzerland, where we played together with Thronar. At the first audition he played flawlessly all tracks of the debut “Mental Surgery” including the new songs. He has the skills, can play some good death metal, has a great throat for backing vocals and he’s a very relaxed and experienced guy. We look forward to rock with him soon!”.
Bouke will play his first show with Murder Manifest on the 25th of June in Soest (Netherlands). More Bouke at
