Deadfall formed in April 2005 by Mike Thompson and lead guitarist Dave Turner, following the demise of previous band 'Polaris'. After recruiting drummer Pete Mather and bass player Jimmi Mansell, Deadfall went from strength and strength by winning the 2005 Nottingham Battle of the Bands, and releasing the 6 track EP 'Ordeal By Fire.
In mid 2006, Ryan Ashley would replace the lead duties for a brief stint, as the band would release the full length album 'Fatal Deterrent' and the 3 track EP 'Vicious Vendetta', appear at the Bloodstock Metal Festival and support thrash legends Exodus.
Deadfall disbanded for a short while in May 2007, until re-forming in July to continue gigging as a 3-piece. But musical differences and line-up problems led to the further break up in late 2007. The band re-recorded the track 'Resistance Is Futile' in October 2007 for the Earache Records comp 'Thrashing Like A Maniac', which was released January 2008.
A Big thanks goes to everyone who helped and supported Deadfall, and good luck to all those keeping thrash alive in the 21st century.
