My Lament is een doom/death metal band uit Antwerpen, België die al meer dan tien jaar actief is. Na een lange periode van stilte, die volgde op de release van de erg goed onthaalde CD "Broken Leaf", is de band nu terug met een nieuwe gitarist Robrecht (ex-Sfagnum, ex-Ecliptica, ...) en zanger Xavier (Akem Manah, VoidWork, Pillars, Sentience, ...).

Hun invloeden zijn duidelijk in het progressievere karakter van de riffs en het gebruik van cleane zang en screams, naast de gebruikelijke grunts. Dit alles kan je horen op de nieuwe EP "Sorrow" die momenteel streamt op de website: www.my-lament.com

De band begint nu met een reeks optredens en schrijft aan een full CD die nog een stap verder zal zijn in de muzikale evolutie, zonder te breken met het genre. Een eerste concert alvast op vrijdag 1 mei te Antwerpen: https://www.facebook.com/events/741189579330880/
