"Wij zien het in Nederland niet snel gebeuren dat een band met een sound a la Callisto de top 40 bestormt maar in Finland kan zoiets wel. Dat voelt goed. Want dan blijkt dat 'de goede smaak' ook collectief gedeeld wordt. Het sextet was aanvankelijk hoorbaar grote liefhebber van Neurosis en Breach maar in de acht jaar dat ze bestaan vloeien er progrockelementen, jazzakkoorden en sinds de komst van zanger Jani Ala-Hukkala meer melodie in de hypnotiserende post-hardcore."

EUROPEAN TOUR CANCELLED DUE TO ACUTE SURGERY

We are sad to let you know that we are unfortunately forced to cancel all the shows in Europe between 1.-15.5.2009

The vocalist Jani Ala-Hukkala has been acutely operated in the hospital, due to seriously infected cecum appendix. The situation is not critical but he is under strong medication and constant control.

Now it is obvious that Jani will not be able to work at least for the upcoming 3 weeks. His elevated CRP requires close monitoring and running more tests over the weekend. At this point we can only hope he will eventually get better and experience full recovery.

We feel very bad for all the promoters & friends who have done a lot of work for this tour, not forgetting all the people who were coming to see us live and will now be disappointed because of this. The feeling is mutual but at the moment our main concern and greatest interest is Jani's recovery.

We hope that this doesn't mean all hard work goes to waste but wish that we could reschedule the tour in the future with better luck.

Our deepest apologies for all. Some things are beyond control and we simply have no other choice.
