Festival characteristics:
There will be first volume of metal open-air festival called Black Lights during the second July weekend (10th - 11st July 2009) at Autoclub area in Divišov. The goal of Black Lights festival is to fulfil the gap between small one-day underground gigs and big metal festivals and to offer interesting selection of performing bands from genres black / pagan / folk / industrial / doom metal, which aren ́t that much frequented at Czech summer festivals. On the contrary, 10 of performing foreign bands will play at the area of Czech republic for the first time at all (as well as at the area of Slovakia and Poland). Festival visitors are going to see Irish folk metal legend CRUACHAN (founded in 1992) and Swiss black metal revelation of last few years DARKSPACE (fouded in 1999) as festival headliners. Even these two bands have never played in Czech republic before.

Besides headliners there will perform during two days other 24 interesting bands from Finland, Italy, Netherlands, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Slovakia, Norway, Belgium, Hungary and Czech republic. Festival obviosity is sufficient space for camp site, wide metal market for metal Cds and t-shirts purchase and large variety of alcoholic and soft drinks and snacks, including vegetable diet.

Divišov city lies approximately 40 kilometres southeastern from Prague, the capital of Czech republic. Ticket costs 16 EUR in advance booking and it can be bought thru few ways: at e-shops of organizers Naga Productions and Metal Swamp, at selected shops in Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Plzeň cities and at booking networks Ticketpro and Ticketportals. Ticket price at the place of festival will be specified.
