A new chapter ….
Delta FM is ready to announce the word about a new chapter in the history of heavy music on Delta FM. For more than 15 years Delta FM put time in playing the best in hard-rock, metal, punk and hardcore, but now things have dramatically changed because of Egbert Berenst stopping to hit the airwaves. Egbert is a real icon within the team of Delta FM and we are grateful for all his time and efforts he has put into promoting heavy music in general. Good luck to the dark wizard !!! But we are going to continue.
What can you expect ….
‘Delta FM Black Monday’ is a new name but still a platform where unknown and independent music can be heard. We are always on top in the newest and best in hard-rock, metal, punk and hardcore and we never forget the local and regional bands by giving them that little extra attention. Also we’re on top about everything that goes around in our neighborhood but we look further than that and inform you about the coolest shows and festivals around. As mondays are always a slow and heavy starter it’s the best way to wake up tuning in on Delta FM Black Monday at 19.00 hours CET.
How is it gonna look like on Mondays ….
19.00 - 20.00 hrs: The Wake Up Hour
This one goes out for the ladies. In this hour we play the heavy alternative. Boys intend to call this emo music but to give you a taste of flavor, here are some names: Foo Fighters, Joy Division, Gaslight Anthem, Breeders, Sense Field, White Lies, Sinch, The Smiths, The Cure, Social Distortion, Editors, Kleazer, Faith No More and much more . The computer will play your hits but the playlist is carefully selected by your favorite dj’s.
20.00 – 21.00 hrs: The Get Out Of Bed Hour
Time to get active. Tim is about to hit the buttons with all kinds of Punk and Hardcore music. He has some experience so you know what to expect. The best tracks along with information and interviews that you need to know. Want to know where that crust band has a show in a squat ? Tim is your man. Supported by labels and promotors he has the latest music you would like to hear.
21.00 – 22.00 hrs: The Getting Smashed Hour
Ever had that feeling when you got out of bed and got smashed by that hammer ? Right this is your hour. Your new host Frido will play the best music in the heavy regions. Hardrock, Heavy Metal, Trash Metal, Death Metal, you know the drill. Along the music Frido is there to inform you about shows, festivals and interviews your favorite bands. Tune in to get hit real hard !!!
