GORGOROTH (nor)
Norwegian black metal with straightforward songs that never become too technical and that are drenched in a cold, aggressive and grim atmosphere. They return to the roots of black metal but cover it in a modern jacket. The riffery is excellent and the drums keep on pounding, crashing and punching until nothing is left.

Drone/doom metal with occasionally sludge, elaborated with ambient and post-rock influences. The overall sound is very dark and sinister and is unlike other bands in the genre where they surprise with electronic effects that radiate erratically through countless layers of distortion and hide a low electronic buzz in the background or a keyboard note in the middle of sonic dissonance.
