Stupidity Returns
We’re ready! Well, at least almost… Stupidity Returns, our new record, is on its way to the pressing plant as we speak. What to expect? Our last record, Hate the Neighbours, got released in 2008. In the meantime we have been playing a shitload of shows, went on several tours and managed to squeeze out new songs to fit this here new record. It shows a great maturing process (something that can't be said on a personal level by the way…) without losing the style that is grasped from the start. So yes, you can still think Adolescents, SNFU, RKL, NoFX and anything in between. Relieved? Well, i am!

Stupidity Returns was recorded with producer Nico van Montfort in december 2010 at the infamous Erock studio in Panningen, the Netherlands. It contains ten new songs which can easily be qualified as the best work we ever slapped on vinyl/cd so far! The official release date is set for Friday the 13th of May.

Talking about vinyl: Shield Records (NL), Dirty Faces Records (D) and Doom Town Records (CRO) are teaming up to release the vinyl version of this record. There will be a CD version on Shield (NL) and Destiny (D). We are pretty stoked that these labels all want to work with us on this one. Stupidity Returns will also be made available for the download generation, so no worries kids…

Two new songs
Curious? As promised, there’s a little preview from the upcoming record, “Mall Rats” & “Delusional”, on our Bandcamp page (http://music.brtpck.com). The songs are also on Facebook and Myspace, links below. In the meantime we will keep giving an update of songs from the record, so tune in every now and again.

Release weekends
We will be doing two release weekends. Why four release shows… why the fuck not?
- 20th of May in Nijmegen (with Gewapend Beton and The Accelerators)
- 21st of May in Berlin (with Scheisse Minnelli)
- 27th of May in Bonn (with Scheisse Minnelli and Night Fever)
- 28th of May in Nurnberg (at the Fight Back festival with Night Fever and more)
So come out to these shows and party. It's a celebration: bring your own party hat!

Groezrock
We signed up for playing the Groezrock – Macbeth stage. Things don't look good though, we’re too damn lazy to be twittering this thing to all our friends 5 times a day, so the geek-squad is running away with all the spots.
