Now, Voyager is an up and coming metal band from Brussels, Belgium. Having originated in 2006 with the name Nebra, the band suffered a lot of set-backs as they were unable to find a steady vocalist. Never the less, the band never gave up and kept writing. It wasn’t until 2010, when Nabil Sanaullah separated from his former band (Blood Redemption) that they finally found a suitable vocalist.
Now, Voyager’s sound involves a blend of August Burns Red’s aggressiveness rolled into Norma Jean’s chaos, and topped off with Thrice’s atmospherical melodies to form a unique powerhouse that will get your feet shuffling, your heads banging, and your necks cracking until the very last note has rung. Fans of these bands are guaranteed a treat, as well as those of Architects.
Though Now, Voyager hasn’t played an enormous amount of shows, it already got to play with Penknifelovelife, which featured Confide’s current vocalist, Ross Kenyon. Over the last few months, Now, Voyager has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Campus, As Enemies Arise (NL), When Hope Escapes, Poison My Blood, Perceptions, Hopes Die Last (IT), Empires Fade (UK), and The Elijah (UK).
The band is currently preparing to go record its first EP at Outhouse Studios (Architects, Enter Shikari) in the UK in April, and is aiming for a release in July.
