It is with great pride we bring you "Floating Veins", the debut album of Syndrome, the lastest moniker under which Mathieu Vandekerckhove (Amenra, Kingdom, Sembler Deah) operates. Opposed to the emotional and violent outpour that Amenra delivers, Syndrome explores the very boundaries of introspective music.
Prepare to be taken on a narrative musical journey through five acts each painting a different picture but trancending into one dramatic moment where everything seems to fall into place perfectly. While the ambient soundscapes and the erie droning riffs are the blood, the apocalyptic drums and beats are the pulse. The tides stow the listener right into the roaring heart of Syndrome. Until it stops.
Comes in a vinyl style 3mm spined sleeve. Limited to 500 copies (first 100 copies with extra dvd).

Er is nu ook een nieuwe Syndrome beschikbaar. Deze keer een split samen met het Nederlandse Monotonos en het Belgische Sequences.
Ze hebben vorige week samen gespeeld in Parijs en speciaal voor dit optreden hebben ze een cd gemaakt met exclusieve nummers.
De cd (géén cd-r) is gelimiteerd tot 200 handgenummerde exemplaren.

Counsouling Sounds are proud to announce "Now And Forever" the new album from Syndrome.

Close to a decade ago a primitive form of Syndrome was brought to life as a vehicle for the solo output of Mathieu Vandekerckhove, mostly known for his work with Amenra,Kingdom,Sembler Deah,... For years the self-taught musician learned and studied his craft of songwriting and sound scaping, mainly as a means to self exploration, meditation and attempts at channelling negative into positive energy, this while staying below the surface at all times.

Now 2012 marks a turning point for Mathieu Vandekerckhove and Syndrome as he steps forward, with the epic 28 minute long "Now And Forever". Dedicated to his son Wolf, this track offers words of guidance and will grant you a look into the heart and soul of the artist. Close your eyes and hear the beating heart of pure artistic freedom.
