Klinkt godverdomme lekker!

Ik vroeg me al af waarom dit zo lekker oud, bijna 70's achtige sound, klinkt maar dit is ook daadwerkelijk begin jaren 80?

Fucking lekker dit, ff opgezocht op Youtube for more.

Legend is de ultieme nwobhm/doom klassieker. Zeer vette muziek vind ik zelf ook. Die gasten kwamen van een eiland i.p.v. van het vaste land, wat het extreem moeilijk maakte een platen deal te krijgen. Volgens mij zijn de platen door de band zelf uitgebracht, doet niet echt af aan de sound, ik trek dat oude geluid wel hehe en anders hadden we dit moeten missen. Waar je op zoek naar moet gaan is de Anthology compilatie uit 2002, daar staan alle vette nummers op. De 2 LP's zijn namelijk erg prijzig.

Die compilatie is toch gewoon de hele ouwe discografie van 2 albums + 1 mini? Ik wil 'm nog wel een keer echt hebben (nu alleen als mp3), al is het maar voor de historische waarde, maar weet iemand waar ik die vandaan zou kunnen halen?

Ik 'ken' (want tot nu toe nog te weinig beluisterd) Legend trouwens naar aanleiding van hun laatste wapenfeit 'Still Screaming' uit 2003. Leuke plaat, die echter wel een beetje omlaag getrokken wordt door de lelijk klinkende en matig geprogrammeerde midi-drums.

ik heb ze zelf al tijden via die distro binnen. En aangezien er nog exemplaren zijn, gaat het kennelijk niet zo hard met Legend.

Jersey island's premier heavy metal band Legend should undoubtedly have been one of the more popular acts of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal phenomenon in the early eighties, but bad luck and the nature of music business in general kept them unsigned. Legend from Jersey in the Channel Islands does not really need an introduction. Amongst fans of the N.W.O.B.H.M. they are truely a legend. With two albums and one 12" EP on their own Workshop Records in the early 1980’s, they carved their name into music history. However, fans of the band were surprised when a brand new Legend studio album entitled “Still Screaming” was released on Monster Records in 2003. Ik heb dit de afgelopen week goed veel geluisterd! Wat een heerlijke band toch. Van de riffs tot en met de lekkere vocalen. Jammer dat dit nooit groter is geworden eigenlijk.

Ik heb die Anthology de afgelopen paar dagen ook veel geluisterd. Ik was nog niet eens in de planning toen dit opgenomen werd geloof ik, maar dat boeit niet. Lekker spul.
