Ash Borer (USA) – Since their start these Americans quickly made their mark on the world of heavy music. Ash Borer from California are among the finest representatives of a recasting of the well-known Norwegian second wave of black metal. With their highly praised Profound Lore debut ´Cold of Ages´ they remind us that there are desolate forests and cold winters to be found in the USA as well. One thing’s for sure: they’ll hammer us into submission.

Fell Voices (USA) – Ash Borer comrades Fell Voices are on the same page when it comes to the sound of atmospheric black metal. With a sound stripped bare to the bone, they use elements of drone, ambient and doom. Their live performances are a pure release of energy, intensity being part of what Fell Voices are all about. Definitely a sight to behold..

Terzij de Horde (NL) – Also in the business of hybridizing black metal, Terzij de Horde demands your attention. Live and on record they’re evidence of the threads that connect the mesmerizing polar blasts with the chaos of ’90’s screamo. They are an excellent opener for this solemn night.

Heb een paar Fell Voices LPs op voorraad en nog nooit één verkocht. Maar schijnt toch bekend te zijn?!

Mm, Ash Borer en Fell Voices komen ook in Utreg, dus ik fiets daar wel langs in plaats van naar A'dam te treinen.
