The first thing to notice on this third CD (and second album) by the supergroup that is Blood Of Heroes is that Bill Laswell is totally out of the picture. The line-up is changes a lot more this time around, with Justin Broadrick and Dr Israel appearing on most tracks, while Enduser and Submerged relay each other as far as the beat-making goes (at times supported by Balazs Pandi's drumming). All in all, this is a much harder, much darker album than this band's previous works. Less contemplative than "Remains", a lot better than the first album as far as Dr Israel's vocals go, and even with some grindcore-voices (by At The Gates' Tompa) on one tune. Very solid and original, here's an album that clearly pushes the Blood Of Heroes formula forward.
