MMM Presents a night of new Dutch Thrash Metal!!!
31 January 2014 @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands
FREE ENTRANCE!!
Doors: 19:00
DISQUIET:
The Dutch melodic thrash outfit Disquiet was restablished in Utrecht 2008. Disquiet combines Bay Area oriented thrash metal mixed with melodic European
elements. Imagine a mix of Testament with Arch Enemy, moderated with some modern metalcore influences.
January 2012, the band launches its first full-length album ‘Scars Of Undying Grief’. A product of perseverance with an in-your-face production by Tommie Bonajo (Blind Sight), demonstrates Disquiet’s approach to modern thrashmetal. ‘Disquiet’s debut album is better than many of the established order’ according Aardschok Magazine. Check them out!!
PROJECT PAIN:
A Thrash Metal band from The Netherlands. They released their debut CD '' I Have Sinned '' on 23 June 2012.
"I Have Sinned" is a full lenght 10 track CD and is recorded and produced at the F.A. studio by Guido den Hoed and has 3 guest musicians on it. Project Pain is founded in January of 2011 by 2 friends, Bauke and Guido’s first metal band was “Killer Force”. Later on they started “Minas Tirith” After a lot of different musicians the band split up and Bauke quit with music. Guido then started “Virtual” and made a cd ‘’Language of Machines’’. After 3 years they decided to end the band.
After an 8 years break in January 2011 Guido and Bauke started a new band called Project Pain and after several try outs with different musicians, Stephan joined on bass and in oktober 2012 and to complete the band in May 2013 Sander joined at the drums and in September Niels joined as our new solo guitarist. Check these guys also out! MMM reviewer Kees Schijven described the band as the "Dutch Exodus"!!! So you know what to expect!
VARISCYTHE:
Variscythe started out around 2009 as a group of friends from The Hague, who came together every week to jam out and eventually write songs and grow into a complete metal formation. With this line-up, they recorded their self-entitled EP which was released in early 2011.
They play some kind of technical thrash with a few minor death elements in their music. In the following two years, Variscythe played around 70 gigs, including radioshows and festivals, such as Duveltjesrock, Westerpop and Plein Open. They also did a large amount of club shows including The Cave, Baroeg, De Supermarkt, De Bosuil and many more. Variscythe is, and always will be growing and evolving into a more true form of itself.
