Have a Nice Life is an American shoegazing band, founded in Connecticut in 2000 by Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga.

The band is known for their unique style of post-punk, which includes several shoegazing, ambient and drone elements.

Ik zag de nieuwe plaat van deze band op Pitchfork Advance staan, ik ga hem vandaag eens beluisteren. Staat al lang op mijn lijst van bands om te beluisteren, maar ik ben er nooit aan toegekomen.

Dan Barrett is trouwens ook bekend als duistere folkartiest Giles Corey.

Deathconsiousness (het debuut) krijgt hier al jaren een regelmatige luisterbeurt. Een lange zit, maar erg intens en goed.
