The second edition of the 'Doomsower Mark presents...' concerts, features:
MOURNING DAWN (FR)
Mourning Dawn came to life as a one-man-band from the south of France in 2002 with will to avoid stereotypes while giving a dark and violent music.
After a few demos and EPs, first album was released in 2007 on Totalrust Music, receiving very good feedbacks from the critics and 'zines, especially concerning the dark and obscure atmosphere that emerges from it, and the extreme harshness of the vocals.
Laurent then wanted Mourning Dawn to evolve to a full line up band in order to give it live opportunities.
Once stable line up found, 2nd full length called "For the fallen" was recorded, again released on Totalrust Music in 2009, which propelled the band to the forefront of the scene.
During past years, the band shared the stage with some of the most renowned bands of the scene including Evoken, Mourning Beloveth, Forgotten Tomb, Ahab, Isole, Mournful Congregation, and more….
Les Sacrifiés, 3rd album from Mourning Dawn is now out on Totalrust music.

This new album offers natural continuation of band’s own style oscillating between oppressive Death/Doom & Black Metal dark aggressiveness with a deep emphasis on human feelings like despair and pain.
DRESDEN/LENINGRAD (NL)
“Rising from the ashes of all that is doomed, Dresden/Leningrad is here to bring an ode to those who given their life to The Father. The riff marches, the devil's song buzzes over the battlefield that is bombarded by the kettledrums of hell. Cannons loaded, rifles polished and oiled, knuckles white and pupils dilated. Tread the tracks of your fallen brothers, Dresden/Leningrad is your leading light through No Man's Land.”
We are Dresden/Leningrad, a Stoner/Doom trio from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During the two years we have been playing together, we released 2 records, the 'Vader' EP in August 2012 and 'De Tirannie' in November 2013. We draw our inspiration from scenes of War and 70's rock. With our music, we attempt to paint a picture; a gruesome, gloomy picture of a battlefield; where all hope is abandoned; where it is everybody for themselves; here, the reason for fighting has been long forgotten; soldiers are so down on their luck that despair is there only remaining ally.
