ANVIL (Canada): One of Canada's longest-running metal bands, Anvil was on top of the metal world in the early eighties, with albums such as "Metal On Metal" and "Forged In Fire" regarded as power metal classics and gaining critical acclaim as well as fan interest. Though their worldwide popularity isn't quite what it used to be, they have persevered though several lineup changes and continue to release 80's-styled power metal albums. In 2009 the band found new life from an unexpected source, that being the documentary film The Story Of Anvil, which became a huge hit even beyond metal circles. Last time they played at Little Devil it was completely sold out; so dont wait to long!!!!

REZET (Germany): School mates Ricky Wagner and Thorben Schulz started the band Rezet in 2003 in Schleswig, Northern Germany, when they were only 12 and 13 years old. During the heydays of Nu-Metal, the two young guitarists were inspired by their heroes Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer and began to realize their dream of having their own 80s speed and thrash metal band, together with friends from their neighborhood. In the early days, the band’s line-up changed repeatedly and their tastes in music didn’t seem to fit in with what was happening around them so they were considered exotic outcasts during that time. This, in fact, made Wagner and Schulz work even harder and Rezet quickly became an insiders’ tip. The band has now 3 albums and a DVD. This is oldschool thrash the way it should sound!

MYSTERY BLUE (France): Originally founded by the guitarist FRENZY PHILIPPON, MYSTERY BLUE rather quickly became a household name in the world of Hard Rock, as we called Metal in those pioneering days. The band released two successful albums, the eponymous debut long-player MYSTERY BLUE (AXE KILLER RECORDS), followed by CIRCLE OF SHAME (DREAM RECORDS/CBS), and toured Europe with big guns such as MOTÖRHEAD, DEF LEPPARD, SAXON, VENGEANCE, and fellow “Frenchies” H-BOMB and SATAN JOKERS. But after the rocket propelled rise, the young band succumbed to internal strife and disintegrated. In 1996 FRENZY reformed MYSTERY BLUE, assembling what has so far proven a mature line-up, comprising of – besides FRENZY – the lovely and talented vocalist NATHALIE GEYER, bassist DANY OHLMANN, and drummer VINCE KOEHLER. Shortly afterwards the band released their third album, SPIRIT OF YOUR SONG. After 7 albums In 2015, as a special treat for their true fans, MYSTERY BLUE released a collector DVD with live extracts and video clips retracing the band’s historyunder the name “A Journey Through Time – 30 Years in Metal”.After many years of touring, MYSTERY BLUE is about to release their first live album “Live…Made in Europe” including a bonus DVD. Release date: 30 June 2016……Today True Metal doesn’t get any better than MYSTERY BLUE. Get ready to bleed!
