Attack Of The Mad Axeman might look like an unassuming bunch (a bee, turtle, snail, owl and squirrel) but they sound like a rabid pack of baboons bred on a diet of Bolt Throwers and Terrorizers. Add to that the local and not-so-local heroes and you've got ourselves a great line up.

No, this isn't a Michael Schenker tribute but super tight bulldozergrind from Hamburg. AOTMA might sound like a rabid pack of baboons bred on a diet of (old) Bolt Thrower and Terrorizer, but they appear in the unassuming shape of a snail, turtle, night owl and a squirrel. Don't make no mistake about it, these forest critters are just as fierce and competent as any top-tier grind combo out there, fully equipped to silence any sceptic.

THROWING BRICKS (nl)
Promising new band from the Gouda / Utrecht area. Named after Ceremony’s most aggressive track, Throwing Bricks saw the light of day in December 2011. Listening to their quality release "Self-Distancing" from 2016, it becomes clear that these guys mean business. Not a one-trick pony, they nicely mix up Hardcore and late 90s screamo with Sludge elements and even some shoegaze. The band references Amenra, Slowdive, Converge, Discordance Axis, Ceremony, and Jesu.

DJ URINE (fr)
A Parisian sound artist who creates sound collages from fragments of vinyl records. Like assembling a mosaic (or maybe even cutting up a pizza), these sound fragments are assembled in various methods, then played on customised turntables, to build up rhythms, loops and textures out of different genres. Sped-up Bollywood vocals can be heard over corrupted bars of Spazz or spoken word pieces, resulting in an imaginative chaotic barrage of sounds.
