Dear all,
It has been over 7 months since we've lost our dear friend and musical family member, Pascal. It has become clear in these past months that Pascal and his musical creations were very much beloved and sometimes it still feels very unreal that he will never make music again.
Thus, the idea of “Pijnschrift” was born; to come together and honour Pascal and his music one more time. Over the past months, former bandmembers and musical acquaintances of Pascal’s have been working on this memorial which will take place in November.
On November 4th Pijnschrift will attend the Dutch Doom Days festival at Baroeg, Rotterdam. Pascal has played this festival many times and we feel honoured that the organisation of the festival wants to host this commemoration as part of this years edition of the festival.
The second and final event will take place one week later, November 11th, at the Little Devil in Tilburg. This will be a free to attend event and Pijnschrift will be the only act of the evening. We would like to encourage everyone who wishes to listen to Pascal’s music one more time to raise a glass to his memory and join us in this celebration. Pijnschrift will cease to exist after these two events.
