Heeft iemand de cd "Black Metal Supremacy" al? Heb er al een paar goede reviews over gelezen, en beluister nu een paar mp3s en het klinkt bijzonder grimmig.
Review van digitalmetal.com:
Black Metal Supremacy
(Moribund Records)
Featuring Warlord Nocturnus Horrendus of Corpus Christii and Noktu of Drakkar Productions and Celestia, Genocide Kommando are "nuclear devastation leaving nothing but clouds of human dust in their wake!" According to Moribund at least. They claim to be true black metal stormtroopers ushering in a militant era of satanic terror that will end with "the total genocide of the human scum. May it happen once again." Moribund says the album is "currently subjugating all of low IQ!" Now that all the rhetoric is out in the open, what is the music like? They say dark art for the satanic elite, what it is is well executed early Norwegian black metal with a clear production but raw sound. Basically, they play structured songs, not overly repetitive, but not chaotic. Both guys play guitar and contribute vocals. They are joined by a drum machine, which does a fine job. The guitar adds interest, if not inspiration and the vocals are what is expected. I've heard far far worse, but ultimately Black Metal Supremacy has not earned a slot in my CD changer. Kommander Noktu does the vocals on five songs and Kommander Horrendus on the other three. Their style, in the Mayhem tradition, is pretty much the same, but with Horrendus I can catch most of the words, and with Noktu very few of them. No lyrics are printed, but their message is still obvious, with the booklet featuring photos of a concentration camp mass grave and bombed out ruins. A rant about the current scene being open to "whores singing for money" and "tolerates homosexuality in our kult" rounds out the presentation. After listening to Black Metal Supremacy straight through four times this morning I can say that it is well played in keeping with the confines of style they place on themselves and has some notable passages but not really any standout songs. Genocide Kommando certainly will not transplant past masters but fans of the style should enjoy this album. Forced to make a selection for favorite song, I pick "Clouds of Human Dust" equal parts musical merit and song title. All those "low IQ" fans should be suitably impressed.
