We are a bunch of friends, which decided to start booking shows in our region in the south of the Netherlands. We wanted to put back our province Limburg aka Limbabwe, back on the musical map! We took our name from the legendary hardcore/grind/sludge label Slap-A-Ham, which made furore in the early ‘90’s! Who didn’t grow up with classic records of Melvins, Spazz, Infest, Crossed Out, Noothgrush or Man Is The Bastard? Well we did. We mainly focus on extreme/harder orientated underground music, but we have no boundaries! We are all music lovers by heart and whether it is hardcore/punk, black/thrash/death, garagerock ‘n roll or hillbilly country, if it moves us and we dig it, we’ll book a show! At this point we set up shows in about 5/6 different venues that range from a small pub to legalized squat, till a proper pop/rock club. With a capacity between 75 to 400 people.
