Mijn eerste gedachte inderdaad.

Verder Darkthrone, zeker de wat latere albums.



En een wat tragere groove.


Ik denk ook aan Khold of Tulus, of Satyricons K.I.N.G. maar krijg wel het gevoel dat dit topic dan straks black ‘n’ roll moet gaan heten.

Nu geen tijd om te graven maar Groovy als in die hele horde d-beat,crust blackmetal dan? (Ildjarn)

Darkthrone en Craft hebben al een behoorlijke invloed daar uit gehaald denk ik.

Zoals hierboven aangehaald, vooral Craft, voor mij!

Andere namen: Glorior Belli, Khold

Ildjarn, Sort Vokter,... en consoorten vind ik toch niet echt 'groovy', eerder nihilistisch / militaristisch

Glorior Belli moest ik ook gelijk aan denken, en zijn sommige latere platen van Taake niet aardig groovy? Ook een stuk richting de black 'n' roll, maar wel uitzonderlijk lekker is de EP "Shotgun Evangelium" van het Canadese Vatican.

Die associatie bij Vatican ben ik nog niet eerder tegengekomen! Wegens mijn relatieve onbekendheid met het genre ben ik een stuk of wat willekeurige bands gaan luisteren, maar ik kan me er niet echt in vinden.
