Zenial |

I remembered to have heard the name a couple of times before - and ALWAYS negative so I found this : "ILLDISPOSED Drop Off DEATH ANGEL Tour - Sep. 15, 2004 ... problems with the promoter, Metallysee agency," according to an official statement from the band. ..." Hm..... And very interesting this here : Former HADES guitarist Dan Lorenzo has sent us the following message: "Never in my life did I think I would have ANYTHING in common with [DEICIDE frontman] Glen Benton, but reading this morning's story about his problems in Europe with Metallysee brought back something I've rarely talked about. "One of the main reasons HADES broke up after our European tour was for the exact same reasons DEICIDE cancelled their recent tour. Metallysee [Booking Agency] brought HADES over at our height the spring of 1989. We had as many as a dozen people in a van that was designed for eight maximum. Like Glen said, exhaust came back into the van. "After four days of a 19-day tour, the road crew left, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Everyday we'd wake up and ask how far of a drive was ahead of us. Every day it ended up being 2-3 hours more than we were told because [Metallysee head honcho] Johan would get lost. We played in out of the way small towns that our fans had difficulty finding. "After about a week of this, HADES decided to break up. We decided we would finish the tour to be fair to our fans. I almost threw away my passport because I thought I hated touring so much. "In 1993 NON-FICTION opened for OVERKILL in America and Europe and I saw the way REAL tours run. "I don't think Glen is exaggerating about anything he said happened and I always wonder if HADES might have stayed together a bit longer if our first European tour wasn't such a disaster." And this here from Callenish Circle : First of all, we wanna know why you have interrupted your European tour. You told me something before this interview, but we want that you explain us better what has happened through you and Metallysee . If a band like you, that seems to love live dimension, shows, audience and probably use it to spread his music anywhere, decided to break a tour something bad and big happened. Isn’t it? Pat: Well basically the problem was that not enough people showed up in the 2nd week at the German shows… first of all there were 9 bands on the billing, 3 tour busses on the road and a big roadcrew involved. So the costing (= costs made each day) was pretty high. First week in the UK and the Benelux everything was cool because the clubs paid guarantee-payments so there was no risk for the touragency. But when we arrived in Germany (here the clubs had %-deals so the more people come to the show the more you get paid and the other way around) most shows were really poorly visited (between 150-350/400) while the tour needed at least 550 people every day to only break-even. So on these shows the tour made a loss and even though the 3 support-bands paid a lot of money on toursupport the loss became bigger and bigger each day. So the rumour-machine started that the tour was going to be cancelled and stuff like that. Agent Steel already left the tour halfway in Germany cause they didn’t get paid anymore. Several other things happened and in Austria they told us that the first 3 bands were going to be send home after the show in Italy. So they still wanted us to play the Swiss and the Italian shows. Because we were really fed up with how things were going at the tour we refused to play the last 2 shows and decided to go home right away. I mean we expected a lot from this tour, our recordlabel paid a lot of toursupport and we invested a lot of our time and energy on preparation so we were really disappointed about the whole situation. That’s basically the whole story… Seems like Metallysee always rip the bands off ?!?... |

Due to unforeseen circumstances, THE EXCESS OF EVIL European Tour 2007 featuring MARDUK, ENSLAVED, KEEP OF KALESSIN, MELECHESH, GOATWHORE and PANTHEON I, has been canceled. The reasons are still not fully stated about this sudden display of bad news but we assure everyone in Europe we are quite disappointed in the announcement and will be working hard to reschedule touring possibilities for later in the year. As soon as more information is given about the cancellation, you will be reading it or hearing it from us. Thanks for your support and we hope to see everyone overseas in the later half of 2007. Metallysee?? |

En jawel hoor..... Warriors!!! Sadly....and just like a few other tours before ours.....Metallysee fucked up again!......it is with anger in our hearts we have to announce that the european tour has been cancelled for reasons completely out of our control. Ourselves and our brothers in Belphegor tried in a combined effort to make this tour happen until the very last minute, but in the end there was nothing we could do. HOWEVER, thanks to the local promotor in Ireland the shows in Dublin and Cork this weekend will happen as planned! We will also do the headline festivals in Germany: The Deathcrush fest in Adelsheim on the 26th of May and Hellraizer fest on the 27th in Leipzig. We are of course extremely disappointed but will not let this bring us down! We will spend no extra energy on slandering Metallysee, it is far to obvious that this company is not worth mentioning ever again. Unleashed will reschedule the European tour to later this year, likely in the autumn. Johnny and The Boys Hub de Gallier RIP 17-03-2013 |
