Ik ook!!! ZEKER WETEN! Deze band heerscht gewoon! Ik had nooit echt veel op van Grind, maar dit is toch wel een erge lekkere pot lompe grafherrie! Excellent music om schoon te maken (met dit tempo doe je alles lekker snel ... en MET groove! HAHA!)

zit die 'kots' bassist er nog bij?

Jip, "Bud" de kots bassist zit er nog steeds bij maar zal op de tour niet meekomen!!

Hij is namelijk een achterlijk goede gitarist en geeft hier ook les in, en om nu niet al zijn leerlingen kwijt te raken kan hij niet mee op tour door europa!!

Leon Del Muerte (Ex-Exhumed, Ex-Impaled, Ex-nog een zooi bands, nu in "Murder Construct") zal Bud vervangen op het europese deel van de tour. Ze gaan namelijk eerst nog ff een maandje touren door de US.

Verder is Col (drummer) officieel gestopt na de opnames van "Anatomy is Destiny"! Dit ook al vanwege werk, hij heeft schijnbaar een erg goede baan als molecular biologist. Hij speelt wel nog in duitsland op het "Morbid Fest" op 06/09/03 en voor zover bekend zal dit zijn min of meer "afscheidsoptreden" van Exhumed zijn! Voor zover bekend zal hij wel incidenteel nog live mee optreden.

Danny van "ik weet ff niet meer welke band" zal Col vervangen op "Exhumation of Europe 2003".

Due to pressure from German government ratings groups, Relapse Records German distribution partner SPV has been forced to withdraw EXHUMED's new record, Anatomy Is Destiny from distribution on the brink of its release and on the eve of the band's European headlining tour.

Ratings groups deemed the band photos inside Anatomy Is Destiny -- EXHUMED's signature 'dead shots' taken by acclaimed photographer Alex Solca -- far too realistic and gruesome for mass consumption.

EXHUMED vocalist / guitarist Matt Harvey comments; "Censorshit...here we go again. Well, censorship is nothing new to EXHUMED, especially in Germany. It never fails that someone there is hell-bent on filtering what people can see and hear. Ultimately, despite every effort on the part of both EXHUMED and Relapse to release Anatomy Is Destiny the way it was intended to be released, outside pressure from government ratings groups has blocked our record from being distributed in it's current form."

Harvey continues, "The criticism leveled at the artwork on Anatomy is Destiny is that it was "far too realistic". The fact that we are encountering this is nothing but a sign that we're doing something right -- challenging the boundaries of morality and provoking an extreme reaction. It's just a pity that all the Teutonic Necromaniacs won't be able to experience it firsthand. Our aesthetic is meant to provoke a reaction, and hopefully to confront the absurdity and hypocrisy of western morality- but ultimately we are a Metal band whose primary concern is just to play Metal. It is not our intent to incite the record buying public into committing acts of violence or homicide, but hopefully to incite them to think for a moment about this disgusting planet we're all mired in and the finite and fleeting nature of human existence. Apparently, what we are conveying is considered "a threat" to someone's way of thinking and way of life. And we wouldn't have it any other way."

"We have decided that the most important thing is that all the German Slaughtercultists actually get the record in their hands. Unfortunately, the album will reach all of the Necromaniacs in a butchered, truncated and amputated form, leaving the original intent of the album booklet as maimed and mutilated as the subjects of our songs. We have painstakingly created the best possible artwork and lyrixxx for our fans, only to have them consumed by petty, bureaucratic morality-mongering. Anatomy is Destiny! Dikke heersch cd.
De eerste keer dat ik 'm luisterde hoorde ik die grunts niet eens, staat behoorlijk op de achtergrond.
Hij is snel, bruut, techisch dik in orde, heerlijke breaks.
Ik heb die dubbel cd, moet zeggen dat ik de live cd wat minder vind.

EXHUMED Preparing Double DVD, Album Of Cover Songs - Oct. 27, 2004

Californian gore-metallers EXHUMED have posted the following update on their official web site:

"Well, in the spirit of all things EXHUMED, the band's optimism has outstripped their productivity. The EXHUMED boys are still in the middle of the process of compiling archival footage for the DVD. The good news is that the project has been expanded to be a double DVD. Disc one will feature live clips from throughout the band's history, as well as interview footage with members past and present. The second disc will feature full live sets, to be recorded in Los Angeles and Europe during the first half of 2005. Plans are already in the works to arrange the shows. Check back here for more details as soon as they are confirmed. With the ever-increasing scope of this project, we realistically project its release for late fall 2005.

"In the meantime, lacking a DVD release, another project is taking shape. Having long been a thought in the back of the band's collective heads, EXHUMED is readying a full-length album of cover songs. The working title of the album is at this time: 'Regurgitated Requiems: Garbage Daze Re-Regurgitated'. The track listing is being finalized right now. Recordings will begin in December to coincide with an official announcement on the new line-up of the band. 'The album will be a cool way for people to check out the new line-up without the pressure for us to do a new record, as well as a lot of fun for us to work in the new line-up by recording some of our favorite songs — which may surprise a lot of people,' remarked guitarist/vocalist Matt Harvey. The final tracklisting will be posted here in the near future. Since EXHUMED's contractual obligations with Relapse have been fulfilled, the album will be released by the band themselves in the U.S., with licensing deals and subsequent tours pending in Europe and Japan.

Aaron Freeman has left REPULSION and Harvey and has accepted REPULSION's offer to join the band as a second guitarist.
