Trashcan is mijn band, we komen uit de omgeving van Leiden, we zijn nu bijna een jaar bezig met harde live shows en binnekort gaan we een cd opnemen.

Ik zou zeggen kijk op 1 van onze sites en check de muziek of shows!!

BIO:

It all started out in December of 2008, at that time Rick (guitarist) and Denny (ex-drummer) decided to come together to play some music. They felt a good connection and started writing songs. After a while they asked Rene to come and play bass in the band. But that didn't work out quite as well as they thought it would be. So, Rick asked Niels if he wanted to try as the new bassist. Rick and Niels played together before in the bands: buried pain, booze for remedy. Where they both played the guitar. He was excited to join band and play with Rick again. Everything felt good, so we started to rehearse a lot more and always had a blast. At this point the only missing asset to the band was a singer. Rick found the right man for the job: Henk-Jan. They met up in the local bar to do some talking. They spoke about music and got wasted on a Tuesday. But all went well and Henk-Jan Joined the band as swell. At that point given the name "TRASHCAN".
After a summer full of partying, playing and laughing we had about 8 full songs. So we keep kept on rehearsing and had a lot of fun.
Though after a while the Denny left Trashcan for some personal reasons. No hard feelings we still hang out with him a lot. A few days later a new drummer, Istvan started playing with us. He picked everything up pretty fast and tuned everything a bit with his own drum lines. Now we are ready to kick some ass and play some awesome shows in 2010 so see you there!!

The music is influenced by a lot of metal from the southern and American groove metal as Down, Lamb of god, Black Label Society, Pantera, Divine Heresy and more.
