Lucio Fulci -> The Beyond...

Cannibal Ferox .. nooit gezien..
Wel Cannibal Holocaust.. die heeft eigenlijk met 'lost film footage die in een film wordt bekeken' neergezet waar Blair Witch tien jaar later pas mee kwam... Alleen is C.H. nogal ranzig... in tegenstelling tot blair

in Cannibal Holocaust is echter wel alles wat met de beesten gebeurt waar: downside van de film maar ja, het waren de jaren 70 he
tevens absolute aanrader van Jackson: Bad Taste : zijn debuut en tevens meest grappige film

Lucio & Dario maken nog steeds horrorfilms maar dan met state-of-the-art special effects overigens.

Kent iemand 'Sangue'? Dit moet een der bruutste horror's ooit zijn is me verteld door een Italiaan. (Moet er -voor de lol- wel ff bij vermelden dattie serieus pretendeerde regelmatig een geit te neuken; hij heeft me 2 cd's van z'n grindcore band gestuurd; tot zover de informant.)

en nu we het toch hebben over slechte smaak:
it's alive (en het vervolg)

ik ben eigenlijk ook op zoek naar een film van periode 65-70, titel ben ik kwijt maar het verhaal gaat over een moordende boom en hij is zo slecht gemaakt dat je ziet dat er een persoon zit in een omhulsel van naar het schijnt een boom (je ziet het niet zo goed, want je ziet zijn benen er onderuit komen) en iedereen sterft wanneer de boom iemand aanraakt. Pretty low budget maar wel cult

It has been a number of years since I began excavating
the ruins of Candar with a group of my colleges. Now my wife and
I have retreated to a small cabin in the solitude of these mountains.
Here I continued my research undisturbed by the myriad distractions
of modern civilization and far from the groves of academe. I believe
I have made a significant find in the Candarian Ruins. A volume of
Ancient Sumarian burial practices and funerary incantations. It is
entitled "Morturom Demonto"- roughly translated, "Book of the Dead".
The book is bound in human flesh and inked in human blood. It deals
with demons and demon resurrection and those forces which roam the
forest and dark bowers of man's domain. The first few pages warn
that these enduring creatures may lie dormant but are never truly
dead. They may be recalled to active life through the incantations
presented in this book. It is through recitation of these passages
that the demons are given license to possess the living.

The first Evil Dead movie was released in 1982. With a budget of $50,000 director Sam Raimi along with a group of his friends went out into the woods and directed what is now considered one of the greatest horror movies ever. It set up to show what Raimi could do and contained many elements that became trademarks in the directors films including his infamous camera effects. Now many people believe The Evil Dead to be the grandfather of low budget film making. The movie was and still is one of the most original horror movies ever. It deals with the story of a small group of friends who head off into the Tennessee woods for a nice quiet weekend together. Soon they reach the small cabin and find a tape recorder and a strange book in the cellar. After listening to the recordings on the tape they realize something is out in the darkness of the woods around them. Soon one by one the friends fall victim to the evil that lurks all around them.

"I fear that the only way to stop those possessed by the spirits of the book is through the act of bodily dismemberment."

Dellamorte Dellamore is een gaafe film met een heeeeel lekker ding wat er in meespeelt gaat over een goof die op een begraafplaats werkt.. Opera is zaad. Phantasm is een cult film met The Tall Man.. wel gaaf met die ijzeren ballen in de lucht.. deel1 t/m komt nog wel eens op tv.. deel 4 komt binnenkort starring Bruce Campbell (Ash uit Evil dead)
