Man faces charges of having sex with a horse

BELLEFONTE -- A borough man faces criminal charges after allegedly attempting to have sex with a horse in a Port Matilda stable.

Patton Township police said Dale Burris, 44, of 560 Runville Road, admitted to trying to perform sex on a horse Oct. 13 at Deerfield Farms. While he was performing another act on the horse, a woman and her 1-year-old granddaughter walked in on him, according to a criminal complaint filed Friday in District Justice Bradley Lunsford's office.

Stable owners told police that Burris was hired to work in a barn there, but had "no business being near any of the horses," the criminal complaint states.

Burris, who is charged with criminal attempt to have sexual intercourse with animals and disorderly conduct, will have a preliminary hearing Nov. 14 in Centre County Court.

"Police bust illegal racket in rhino urine."

Rhinos at a Calcutta zoo have been allegedly doped to make them relieve
themselves several times every day.

Their urine was then sold in plastic pouches at about £4 per litre for
their supposedly curative properties.

Zoo authorities alerted the police after discovering hundreds of plastic
bags containing rhino urine in the staff quarters.

Medical authorities say local quacks are taking advantage of the
popularly held belief that animal urine has medicinal values.

"The view that rhino urine is good for male sexual potency or can cure
various diseases is factually incorrect. It has been propagated purely for commercial reasons. People need to be warned," said Inderjit Burman, a Calcutta doctor.

Three keepers at the Alipore Zoo, are now being questioned by the police.

"We are doing a thorough investigation. The public cannot be allowed to be cheated by so called medicine men," police chief Raj Kanoria told newspaper Aaj Kal.

"Spurned Woman Skins and Cooks Lover"

A jilted woman killed and skinned her lover then cooked and served his flesh to his family.

Katherine Knight, an abattoir butcher from Sydney, left the skin hanging in the hall and the plates in the kitchen, with the names of John Price's three children next to them.

Earlier, Knight, a 44-year-old mother of four, made a home video for her teenage children, outlining plans to slaughter Mr Price, her lover of six years.

Then she went to his home, where she found him unconscious - believed to be from a drug overdose - and killed him.

Using her abattoir skills and tools she cut off his head and boiled it with body parts and vegetables, reports the Mirror.

The scenes in the house were so gruesome, police officers are still having counselling a year later, a court in East Maitland was told.

Knight admitted murder.

Mr Price's daughter Rosemary, 27, said the guilty plea had spared the court the gruesome details. "It would have haunted the jury for the rest of their lives like it haunts us," she said.

"Only a week before Dad's death they (Knight and Price) were at a family celebration for a grandchild's birthday. Everything seemed OK between them. We had no idea what was to come."

"Apparently Dad wanted out of the relationship. He had applied for an aggravated violence order against her because he was frightened of what she might do. For her to do what she did to him makes it really hard to bear. Dad was a great bloke."

Knight is expected to be sentenced next week.

"Still Officially a Girl"

Eight-year-old boy still officially a girl after midwife's mistake.

An eight-year-old boy in Chile is still officially a girl because officials are refusing to rectify the midwife's mistake.

His midwife made the error on his birth certificate. Officials say they're not allowed to change it.

His parents are starting a legal fight to change his official sex.

Civil servants say they don't have the authority to change a birth certificate's records.

"If the medical staff put it's a girl, then it's a girl," Civil Registry director Omar Assef says. "It doesn't make a blind bit of difference to us if the kid's got a boy's name."

The boy's parents hope to change the details on his birth certificate and ID card.

Their son will have to strip in front of a court-appointed doctor, while witnesses will have to tell the court he behaves more like a boy than a girl.

His mother says the mix-up is extremely embarrassing for her son, adding she hopes it will be resolved soon.

"We are very worried this whole issue will affect him psychologically," she told La Cuarta newspaper.

A Russian man has lived with his dead flatmate's body sat at a table, with a fork in its hand, for a week.

Pravda newspaper says police in Pokrovsk didn't have a vehicle to move the 65-year-old man's body.

The man died during lunch.

The council refused to move an 'ownerless' body. Soldiers finally moved it after journalists found out.

Pravda says the body sat "with his eyes open, holding a fork in his hands - for seven days!"

Maksim Khalmatov worked at a building materials factory.

His flatmate, unnamed by the paper, didn't have any cash to bury him, it says.

The paper adds the body was 'half-decayed' by the time the soldiers removed it.

"Men Convicted of 'Posing' Bodies"

Men convicted of 'posing' bodies for morgue photos.

Two men have been found guilty in the US of abusing corpses by putting them in 'artistic poses' for photographs.

Cincinnati photographer Thomas Condon and former coroner Jonathan Tobias both face jail sentences.

Hamilton County Common Pleas Court heard Condon unzipped body bags and posed the corpses with apples and other items.

Condon, 29, was found guilty of eight counts and faces up to eight years in jail.

Tobias, 31, was convicted on two counts and could be jailed for up to two years.

Defence lawyers say they will appeal the verdicts. They claim Condon was given permission by administrators to take photographs.

They claimed the photographs, taken between August 2000 and January 2001, were an artistic portrayal of the cycle of life and death.

The photographs included a two-year-old child whose hands were wrapped in plastic, a man next to a half-eaten apple and an unzipped body bag exposing a woman's breast.

Judge Norbert Nadel adjourned the case for sentencing on December 13.

"Knifed Man Glues His Ear Back Together"

A Turkish bus driver glued part of his ear back on after it was cut off by thieves.

Recep Yavrucu refused hospital treatment and bought a tube of super glue instead.

He said he was scared of doctors and needles and preferred to treat his own wounds.

Four youths attacked him on his regular run at Antalya.

They also stole around £100 and his mobile telephone, Turkish daily Hurriyet reports.

The injured man helped police with their inquiries but refused their offer to take him to the hospital.

"I've never been to a doctor, and I'm not likely to start now," Mr Yavrucu said.

"I have this fear of doctors and I've always treated my own wounds. Having a piece of my ear cut off was not that serious and I fixed it myself with some super glue."

Enschede. Een mobiel toilet vloog donderdagmiddag over de rijksweg A35 en belandde in de berm, omdat een spanband, waarmee het gevaarte was bevestigd, knapte. Het toilet stond op een aanhangwagen. Er deden zich geen ongelukken voor. De 30-jarige Enschedese automobilist kreeg een boete voor verkeersgevaarlijk gedrag.

Seksueel opgewonden raakte hij ervan. Maandenlang ving een Rotterdamse schoonmaker op de damestoiletten van Rotterdam Airport urine van vrouwen op in plastic zakken. In de nacht van zaterdag op zondag is presentatrice Caroline Tensen aangereden door een taxi. Ze heeft diverse zware kneuzingen, letsel aan haar onderbeen en een gebroken enkel aan het ongeval overgehouden.

Dit hoorde ik net op de TV...

Op de A28 is man om het leven gekomen bij een eenzijdig ongeluk, hij is in een slip geraakt en is daardoor uit de auto geslingerd. De man kwam daarbij op de rijbaan terecht, waarna hij werd overreden door 2 auto's waarvan er nog een zoek is.
