Er is geen twijfel, dat album is uit 2010 (24-12). Alleen is het dan 'redelijk' 'm streng niet voor 2011 te laten tellen; dat is de vraag. Net als Murw - Kanker dit jaar (31-12).

Pfff. Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn?

Kijk gewoon alleen naar het jaartal wat op het hoesje staat en post je definitieve lijst pas na 1 januari.
Dan kun je wat op de valreep uitkomt ook nog mee laten wegen in je keus.

Zo simpel werkt het natuurlijk niet. Zo'n Kanker komt op 31-12 uit. Murw kennende is het geen catchy thrash, plus dat een paar dagen duurt (post of voordat'ie downloadbaar is) voordat je'm uberhaupt kan beluisteren. Als het dan ook nog eens een groeiplaat is of gewoon net iets mindergemakkelijke muziek, krijgt hij dus geen (eerlijke) kans om mee te tellen voor de statistieken van 2011, terwijl hij wel degelijk uit 2011 komt. Ik kan dus niet gister, vandaag of zeven januari zeggen of dat album jaarlijstmateriaal is. Als je per jaar een CD of 50 of meer koopt is zo'n jaarlijst opstellen net iets meer dan je nieuwe CD's tellen. Die Ascension bijvoorbeeld vond ik de eerste paar luisterbeurten aardig maar niet veel meer dan dat; die plaat moest even bezinken. Als zo'n album dan errug laat in het jaar uitkomt, voor welk jaar is het dan redelijk'm mee te laten tellen.
