Ik denk dat vandaag hun nieuw album in België in de rekken ligt. Heb de single (waarvan de titel me ontgaat) al beluisterd, maar ik weet het niet. Het is toch niet meer hetzelfde als hun grandioze werken zoals glory to the brave,, legacy of kings en renegade.
Iemand het nieuwe album al helemaal beluisterd? Meningen...

Stefan Elmgren nokt er mee.

Guitar player Stefan Elmgren has made the decision to leave HAMMERFALL to concentrate on his second passion, flying. He has been working hard the last couple of years to get various flying certificates, and was recently offered a position at an airline:
My interest in aviation has been growing very strong during the last couple of years, and I would have hoped for an opportunity like this maybe in a couple of years”, says Stefan and continues: ” I feel it’s time for me to take the step and become a pilot on a professional level, another dream come true for me after travelling around the world and playing Metal for eleven years. We have discussed the possibility of combining the piloting work with HAMMERFALL, but we all realized that it would be impossible given the rigorous schedule of the band.

On March 12th, the album was introduced for the first time to an international group of press people in Göteborg, where the album received a great response. Metal Hammer Spain calls it “the HammerFall of the future“, while British Powerplay Magazine comments: "Infected will have the name HammerFall spreading like a virus. Prepare for an epidemic!"

The album consists eleven songs, and the limited first edition will also include a bonus DVD with unreleased video material of five of the Infected tracks.
