Helemaal over je reactie heen gelezen, sorry!

Shape of Despair kan ik tot nu toe vrij weinig mee. Ligt meer aan mij want de plaat is echt top. Gewoon niet zo voor in de mood.

En van de nieuwe King Dude was ik me nog niet bewust, gaan we checken, thanks!

Wat een prachtige plaat is dit: Holy Fawn - Dimensional Bleed. Post-rock/metal/shoegaze/electronic, denk aan oude Jesu, Alcest, oude M83 en wat Deftones.

Deze mannen zijn onnavolgbaar, wat een zalig album wederom (het tweede al dit jaar en nog één onderweg). Onmiskenbaar Circle of Ouroborus (die melodieën), maar toch weer nieuwe elementen (de keyboardtoetsen). Wat een band...

Post-metal, sludge, kinda-black, kinda-screamo. Amenra, Overmars, Year of No Light, etc. Zelf halen ze ook nog Regarde Les Hommes Tomber en Lantlôs aan. Wat op zich klopt (met name die tweede), al ligt het iets verder weg qua sound en samensmelting van stijlen dan waar ik in eerste instatie aan dacht.

Ik vind het een onwerkelijk goed debuutwerk. Heel intens, rauw, mooi, alles. Thematisch heftige shit, en zo krachtig gebracht.
