Aan ieder jaar komt een einde en dus is het weer tijd voor onze gecultiveerde traditie: de ZM Jaarlijst! Welke bands brachten in 2021 de beste albums uit? Dat bepalen de lezers van Zware Metalen, ditmaal voor de achttiende keer! Help jij de muzikale balans van 2021 op te maken? Lever hieronder je jaarlijstje in (minimaal 10, maximaal 20 albums). De inzendingen zullen we op één grote hoop gooien om de beste vijftig albums van 2021 te bepalen! Stemmen kan tot en met maandag 3 januari 2021 en twee dagen later publiceren we de uitslag.

In 2020 wist Paradise Lost na vijf verschijningen in de top 50 van een ZM Jaarlijst dan eindelijk een keer bovenaan te staan met Obsidian. De strijd om de titel van 2021 ligt nog wagenwijd open. Gaat Amenra het succes van Mass VI uit 2017 herhalen met De Doorn? Stijgt Gojira met Fortitude naar de top nadat het in 2016 met Magma op de tweede plaats bleef steken? Of zal de gevestigde orde van Mastodon, Cannibal Corpse, Iron Maiden, At The Gates of Darkthrone daar een stokje voor steken? De ondergrondse scene was goed vertegenwoordigd met bijvoorbeeld Ad Nauseam, Suffering Hour, Archspire, Be’lakor en 1914. En wat te denken van lokale helden? Fluisteraars, Asphyx, Ossaert, Alkerdeel en Cryptosis zijn slechts enkele voorbeelden. Om tot een overzichtelijke lijst te komen en om het kaf van het koren te scheiden, vertrouwen we op jouw expertise!

De gebruikelijke regels gelden weer:

- Graag niet (teveel) slowchatten tussen de lijstjes door, zodat ik een beetje overzicht kan houden.
- Albums moeten in 2021 uitgekomen zijn.
- Je kan maximaal één lijst insturen, dit zal nauwkeurig in de gaten worden gehouden.
- Graag je lijst uiterlijk op maandag 3 januari 2021 insturen! De uitslag zal twee dagen erna gepubliceerd worden.
- Denk aan de correcte spelling van bandnamen en albumtitels.
- Je kan maximaal 20 albums aandragen. Lijstjes met minder dan 10 albums worden niet verwerkt.
- Geen re-releases, boxsets, DVD's, verzamelaars, splits, live-albums, mini's, singles, demo's, of EP's. Hier doen we bij echte twijfelgevallen natuurlijk niet moeilijk over, maar zoals ieder jaar is ons doel een albumjaarlijst samen te stellen.
- Mocht je je in dit topic geplaatste lijst willen wijzigen, quote dan alsjeblieft je lijst en plaats je nieuwe lijst als reactie op je eigen quote. Dit zodat ik niet steeds hoef terug te zoeken. LIEFST WEL ZO WEINIG MOGELIJK WIJZIGINGEN, DUS PROBEER JE DEFINITIEVE LIJST TE PLAATSEN!
