kijk aan, ik heb inmiddels de hele cd gehoord

conclusie 1: ik moet deze cd eerst nog een paar keer vaker luisteren

Met name over de drums (productie)heb ik m'n twijfels.
hier zie ik nog wel enige vergelijking met de ordo ab chao drums (als men graag wil vergelijken)

conclusie 2: het is bijna ambient shizzle geworden:
maar liefst 5 (!!) nummers die niet of nauwlijks iets 'normaals' toevoegen

ik ben benieuwd naar jullie meningen

Hij kan mij na 3 luisterbeurten nog niet bekoren. Vind hem niet spannend genoeg. Misschien groeit dat nog...Maar voorlopig heb ik er nog weinig mee.

Ik heb hem ook gehoord en het het valt me erg tegen (als het echt de uiteindelijke versie blijkt te zijn).
Minder agressief en beukend dan de vorige platen, wel meer variatie en mid-tempo stukken. Een hele andere aanpak met veel ambient stukken (bijna de helft) die ik persoonlijk niks vind hebben. Het voegt in sommige nummers wel wat toe maar de plaat weet mij in zijn geheel niet te boeien. Drie vette nummers gehoord, vrij magere score lijkt me...

Mensen met heimwee kunnen zich nog altijd tegoed doen aan "Tyrann" met in de gelederen: Draugluin (Tsjuder/Isvind), Antichristian (Tsjuder/Grimfist) en Seidemann (1349)

Het geweldige debuut album "Shadows of Leng" komt later deze maand uit.

+1 en zo; inderdaad erg goede plaat, en op een of ander webzine staat in de nieuwe versie (1 juni online) een interview met Seidemann van Tyrann...

Wat een bizarre plaat, die nieuwe. Er staan eigenlijk maar 3 nummers op die ik wel goed vind: Serpentine Sibilance, Maggot Fetus en Uncreation. Dat ambient gedoe daarentegen kan me helemaal niet boeien.

Hopelijk weer wat in de richting van de eerste 3 albums. Revelations of the Black Flame vond ik toch niet echt geslaagd.

Ik hoop ook op een terugkeer naar de sound van Hellfire. Wat een bruut album was dat... Revelation of the Black Flame was een mooie poging, maar geen geslaagde.

Van mij mogen ze ook een stuk meer terug naar het oude geluid. Hoewel Hellfire een geweldig album is, hoeft een deel 2 van mij ook weer niet perse, maar met Revelations kon ik toch erg weinig. Van mij mogen ze deze poging laten varen.
