Heb 'm gisteren ook binnengekregen, en direct een keer helemaal gedraaid. Eerste indruk is inderdaad een beetje in het verlengde van Oath Bound, maar iets bombastischer qua (digitaal) instrumentarium en vocaal werk (vooral de koortjes). Ook lijken de folk-invloeden wat meer op de voorgrond te staan. Vooralsnog een erg fijne plaat die geenszins tegenvalt, maar die ik nog wel even op me moet laten inwerken vooraleer ik een goed oordeel kan vellen.

De martial lijkt t.o.v. "Oath Bound" ietsje teruggeschroefd.

Opvallend: The White Tower begint met een gitaarriff ipv met keyboards, dat was even schrikken!
